Some weekends are just odd. Somehow 48 hours went by and almost nothing school related got done but a whole lot else did. But oh the week has started, and one must return to normalcy. Even if you (or me) are behind on life, paint those nails red and get on with it.

How fickle my heart and how woozy my eye

Oh hey guys.  YAY for the weekend!!!!  I am heading off to shop with friends and see a second movie at the Chicago International Festival tonight. Unfortunately no famous actors are rumored to be there tonight, but that is ok because seeing Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones last week was definitely as much celebrity sitings as I can take.  I was hyperventilating in my theater seat when they came on stage, I think my sister can attest.

A day in the sun

Ah the weekend.  And it is lovely weather.  To clarify, I am wearing flip flops, which I can wear at school for about three weeks out of the school year.  According to weather.com I have a week of no cardigans, jackets, and boots!  Check out these cute outfits slash inspirations that I am obsessed with right now :)

So I have been pretty obsessed with Pretty Little Liars this week.   I just caught up on most of the last season in four days.  Although the girls tend to wear wacky fashion choices, sometimes they turn out alright.  Yes, no high schooler wears a dress and high heels to school, but if this inspires people to dress cuter, then I support the effort.  

Also did anyone notice that their high school is really small?  There's like 25 people in their school assembly.  I digress.  Not only does the show include semi fashionable people in scary situations, but there are some fine fellows as well.  But why does Aria get all the cute guys?  A hottie who loves literature?  Not fair.

And finally, I know this was a very scary and crucial scene, but I couldn't help but notice while Emily was pouring out the cereal that I am a huge fan of her nail color.  It is like mint green married turquoise.

Who is excited for the finale Tuesday? You know I'll be watching :)
