One song, before the sun sets
Getting through finals week by listening to the Rent soundtrack on repeat (post title: One Song Glory) and looking at these lovely photos from The Wild Fleur, The Cherry Blossom Girl, Laure de Sagazan, Trop Rouge, and The Simple Luxurious Life.
London style
All moved in! I feel a little discombobulated as classes haven't started yet, and I am just floating around campus. As nerdy as this may sound, I cannot wait to start some of my classes, particularly my English ones. Speaking of English.... check out this cool video of fashion throughout the years in London (nice segway eh?). Ugh I so love style from the 1940s :)
Oh to live in the 20s
So I was planning on putting some pics up of Austin and Houston, but my camera is being silly. So while we wait for this problem to go away, I would like to focus on Midnight in Paris. Not only did I love this movie, no surprise there, but I really like Marion Cotillard. She is one sexy beast.
Anywho I also loved her dresses in the movie. The whole boyish, drop waist dress is really hard to pull off, especially if you have a waist, but this blogger succeeded.

Grace Kelly
I really love Grace Kelly's white dress in "To Catch a Thief." Its so simple and elegant. If I get married, I will find a dress like this :)
a room with a view
Lately I've taken up reading the New York Times on my computer at work due to utter boredom (shhh!), and I discovered pictures of a beautiful 195-year-old house in New York. I'm particularly obsessed with the wall mural in the bedroom. Oh to live here!
A really long post just for you
Because it's Sunday and because I have been pretty bad at posting here, this is extra long. Here is what's on my mind.
First, I would like to say that I wish I looked this cute on a bike.
Second, I am tired of winter, therefore these photos make me happy.
Third, I adore these summer outfits.
Fourth, I like flowers and old houses that look like they are out of Pride and Prejudice.
And last but not least: Ryan Gosling is attractive, even when he is spitting water everywhere.
